The holidays can be real hard on people when they're away from their family and loved ones. It's a general time when people can feel sad and lonely. Making people laugh in the middle of a lonely sad time is about the best thing you can do. Blind Mute Torso of Love isn't a traditional Christmas song, but sometimes people just need a break from Christmas music—even in the middle of a Christmas album. And there's a weird kind of optimism to this song anyway that makes it seasonally-appropriate. Plus it makes me laugh through my nose every time I hear it, and maybe it'll be good for you too.
